Q : What are the advantages and techniques for using the TECHNIC construction instead of traditional bricks?
With the traditional bricks and plates, it was hard to express an axle and were mostly consisting of perpendicular and cubic blocks. So, it was difficult to make showing come out of the frame and act. However, with TECHNIC construction, it is able to make the lego in more diverse shapes instead of a predictable one. Also, by using different types of parts such as beams, pegs and pins to hold the parts with less weight and effort. Some of techniques in using TECHNIC construction are to think out of the frame. Instead of stacking blocks on one another to form a wall, we can link beams with pins to form a stronger wall. Also, instead of simply stacking, we can use the concept of hanging or linking with enough force to make the beam able to sustain itself.
